Additionally, any cadets who are required to have an Epi-pen or medications on them (ie. inhalers for asthmatics) you MUST come to the event with them and have them on them at all times, or you will not be able to participate and will be sent home.
WINGS PARADE Thursday, October 10th at 20:00 (8pm) We will be having our annual Wings Parade. Parents and family members are encouraged to come out to celebrate their cadets' successes thus far this year. There will be promotions as well as other awards. Please bring chairs. Cadets who have their blue uniform will be in C1 Dress and all other cadets that have their FTUs will wear those.
Sign up Sheets Please look ahead on our google calendar- the events up until Remembrance Day are posted that require a sign-up sheet. If you do not want your cadets' name posted on the sign up sheet, please email me: lindsey.dye@cadets.gc.ca, so I can be aware that your cadet will be attending, but it will not be posted on the online form.
Remembrance Day It is highly encouraged that cadets participate in Remembrance Day. The cadets at 755 have a choice whether or not they want to attend in Stony Plain or Spruce Grove. If you cadet plans to attend a ceremony elsewhere, they must speak with Capt Read.
Cadet 365
We are putting a big push on using cadet365. In the next few months, we will be attempting to use the teams app and outlook primarily for communication between the junior and senior cadets as well as officer staff and the cadets. Mr. Elsenheimer has taken on the role at the unit when it comes to C365 issues and questions.
If your cadet has a question and doesn't know where to find the answer, we encourage your cadet ask a senior cadet as we encourage the use of our chain of command; this allows the senior cadet to answer of direct their question to the appropriate staff member if needed. Our parents committee members are also a great resource and have a lot knowledge and if they don't know the answer, they can usually find it out. That being said, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact myself, Capt Read, Lt Anderson, or any of our amazing staff by email. The unit email is 755air@cadets.gc.ca, and we all have individual emails through the cadet organization.
See you all tomorrow!

We have received confirmation that biathlon zones WILL be postponed. We have new tentative dates of a zone competition in May 2025, with the provincial competition in Oct 2025.
We are therefore cancelling all currently scheduled biathlon practices until after December break and will resume in 2025.
This is a new way ahead for us and for this sport, and we appreciate your understanding with the dynamic changes being directed of us. We will continue to update as we learn more.

Hello 755 cadets and parents,
On behalf of Capt Read and the staff of 755, we hope you all had a fantastic summer! It flew by way too fast! In saying that, we are gearing up for another training year. On your annual validation night, we will be doing the following:
If you have siblings in other levels, please choose one night to come in to update your information.
Please note: Some dates for annual validation have recently changed. Please refer to the Google Calendar on the website. Additionally, if you are unable to make your assigned night, please let myself or Lt Anderson know, or see Lt Anderson on Sept 19th.
It is IMPERATIVE that this information be updated ASAP as we have Biathlon as well as FTX approaching fast and cadets will NOT be permitted to attend activities until this information has been updated.
On September 1st, we will be part of Alberta Day at Jubilee Park in Spruce Grove. Dress is FTU's, and I hear there many be some people jumping out of the sky!! Come on out and get part of your yearly volunteering out of the way! We will have a recruitment tent set up as well. 13:45-17:00. Bring snacks and a water bottle. Sign up on the calendar.
On Sept 12th, we will be having our New Recruit night - we will require assistance from the level 4 & 5 cadets to assist with registering the new cadets. Dress will be FTU's for this night. If you are in Level 1-3, and want to show up to see your old friends and chat about your summer, you are also welcome to visit outside.
Our first full training night back will be Sept 19th. Dress will be FTU's.
We are still looking for parent and cadet volunteers for the Legion Steak Dinner on Sept 6th- please sign up ASAP. We are very fortunate to be supported by the Legion and want to continue the fantastic relationship we have with them. It is a lot of fun!
If there are any further questions, please feel free to contact me via email. We look forward to another fantastic training year ahead!
